Energiepark Réiden and the Luxembourg Institute of Science and Technology (LIST)

Focusing on increasing independence from the external energy market, the Luxembourg pilot project tests strategies to enhance local energy self-consumption.

The project will develop a smart ICT platform to transition from the conventional commercial ‘buy-and-sell’ electricity model to a citizen-driven energy system, contributing to Luxembourg’s energy resilience.

With the Luxembourgish pilot, we aim to move from a conventional ‘buy-and-sell’ electricity model towards a citizen-driven energy system that strengthens local economy and self-consumption.
